ADD/ADHD
There are many people in the United States that are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD each year. No matter your age, race, or gender this disease could affect you. Even if you do not have ADD someone you know may have it, and this can affect your learning environment, social setting and even your home life. More and more people are being diagnosed each year, and some of these people that are being medicated have been misdiagnosed. Even though there are people who need medication there are also studies showing that it is getting easier and easier to have a doctor write out a prescription for Ritalin without a proper/thorough examination. Each situation may be different for the severity of the symptoms and the course of treatment.

Hey, I'm just wondering what your stance is... are you saying then that you think there needs to be more extensive exams before prescriptions are given?
