Question for Lincoln

-Hello, my name is Pheng Her. I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota, and I am currently enrolled at the General College. I came from a family of nine kids, in the east side of St.Paul. I graduated in the summer of 2005 from Harding High School. I am in college today because I see it as a way to obtain a well paying job, and hopefully it's a path to a better and happier future.

-Mainly I want to know about you. Name, where you grew up, things you like to do, how your friends are, etc...
-Another thing is as a student at Lincoln is; what do you think about your school (environment, friends, safety issues etc...), do you see a lot of violence in your neighborhoods, and do you think it affects your ability to get an education. One more thing is, when you encounter a problem dealing with school issues do you know your options of where to get help, and and how to get help.

Hi. I'm Sally, and I grew up in Yuba City, Ca. I love playing soccer for high schools, and write poems in contests. I also like to dance for the hmong new year at our school.Personally, having a hmong new year every year here is very much important to me because it's my tradition.:) My friends are like sisters to me, although i grew up with 4 other sisters, and 7 brothers. Oh! yea, I'm in a family of 12 kids.
My school is actually a great school for me. Although some people here gives me hard times, i just thought about my education and dreams. and also how to not screw up my good grade school record.:) I really dislike it when i feel unsuppoorted here(in lincoln) from the staff. Violence in action happens but not quite like saying violence.
Violence in my nneighborhood doesn't happen much,. i mean i only saw 2 violence throughout the summer in my neighborhood. which is good to me, i think. No, i don't really think it affects anything on me towards my education. Yes, when i have to deal with issues at school, I just really write poems and it just cools me down. To get real help though, i just talk to my dad, since he's very much suppotive of my education.
since i've answer you questions, please do the favor back and answer me.
-besides wannting a good and well paying job, who encourages you to go to school?
-how did you feel about going to college at first? were you scared? excited? anxious?blank?
-what are you majoring in?
