Hows it going Sally? Yeah, you can say I'm doing okay in school, I'm not failing any classes which is a good thing. But not really to many tests or projects to do. I have about 2 final exams, 1 final essay, a portfolio and that's it. Not really hard it just takes time to do. I thought the hmong new year was next weekend, isn't it? Or are you talking about the metrodome one? Well my friends are going to make me where hmong clothes, but I'm not too sure yet. It might look funny on me since I haven't worn hmong clothes ever since I was a seventh grader. So do you like to wear hmong clothes for the new year? Probably not huh? A lot of kids these days think they are too good for it, but I say you should be proud of your culture, and not be embarassed. It might actually be fun. So what do you like to do for fun? Do you dance, draw, play a sport or anything? What kind of music do you like to listen to? Oh yeah, how are your new classes? Is it pretty easy? at November 15, 2005 3:59 PMhello there! i am doing good, well, not all that good, but you can say ok. oh, im talking about the hmong new year here at lincoln. hahaha. it's true about what you said. nowadays, hmong teenagers are like...so embarrased about wearing hmong. i think its a cool style. funny...i haven't worn hmong clothes to new years for 4 years now. but i do wear them for fun to take pictures with. this year, i'm going to wear hmong clothes to the new year with my cousins that just came from tahiland. you know? the refugees? yea, them.
i love dancing! and singing, too! other than that, i love writing poems a lot. anykind of music works for me, even when i'm sad, mad, or confused. except fpr them gangster raps. it kinda just...i don't know. i just don't like them as much. what about you? what kind of music do you like? my new classes are ok. my family is having a big thanksgivingfeast with my cousins together. what are you doing for thanksgiving? oh! and can you tell me some stuff about your high skool experiences? like from 9th grade to 10th grade. hope to hear from you again next week! bye.
