The Heller-Hurwicz Economics Institute is a new global initiative in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota created to inform public policy by supporting and promoting frontier economic research and by communicating our findings to leading academics, policymakers, and business executives around the world.

Editorial: U.S., Europe need 'grand bargains'

Tim Kehoe comments in a Star Tribune editorial: "I'm hoping that once November happens and the uncertainty there is resolved, we can just have some sensible U.S. policy. And that will help stabilize the world economy, and that in itself will be good for Europe."
