Kathryn (Katie) Burns (MA '97) is the recipient of a prestigious 2005 German Marshall Memorial Fellowship. The German Marshall Fund of the United States created the Marshall Memorial Fellowship program in 1982 to introduce the next generation of Western Europe's leaders to the United States, its institutions, politics, and people, and to reinforce the transatlantic relationship. Burns will travel to Brussels, Hamburg, Leon, Bucharest, and Paris in February and March.
