Johnson takes on senior management role at Children and Family Services

Charles (Chuck) Johnson (MA '83) was appointed to the senior management post of assistant commissioner for Children and Family Services (CFS), effective December 16, 2004. Johnson will oversee a range of services for low-income families and children, including the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), child support enforcement, adoption, foster care, child protection, and child care assistance. CFS has an annual budget of more than $1 billion and approximately 600 employees.
