Neeraj Mehta (MPP '01) married Erin Johnson on November 12, 2004. He also is helping to start a nonprofit organization called Sanctuary Community Development Corporation. He writes: 'Our mission is to partner in North Minneapolis for change. We are actively working on the following initiatives in local schools: one-to-one tutoring; a hip hop academy that teaches kids the positive aspects of hip hop while helping them use their voice and creativity for change; an arts program; a health initiative; and a faith-based job training and mentoring program.' He is interested in building partnerships with other alumni and welcomes your contact. Please see www.sanctuarycdc.org to learn more.
