Bauer honored as one of the 2011 Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans

Jeff Bauer (MPP '00) was honored by the Minnesota Jaycees in December as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans (TOYM) of 2011. The TOYM program recognizes young leaders who have made major contributions to the state of Minnesota through volunteer service, community involvement, singular expertise, innovative thought or entrepreneurship. Bauer is the director of public policy and civic engagement at the Family Partnership, a nonprofit in Minneapolis that provides counseling, education, and advocacy for the area's most vulnerable children and families. Before joining the Family Partnership, Bauer worked as special assistant to the Minnesota Attorney General, vice president of the West Side Community Organization, and served as the executive director of Youth Farm and Market Project.
