Dana joins the Office of Ecology and Conservation at the U.S. Department of State

Genya Dana (MS-STEP '03) accepted the position of AAAS Science and Technology Policy (AAAS) Fellow in the Office of Ecology and Conservation at the U.S. Department of State. As a AAAS Fellow, Dana handles international issues related to genetic resources, biotechnology, and the environment. She also continues to be a risk analyst at Dana and
Sharpe Risk Associates. Before joining the State Department, Dana was a public policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a ORISE Research Fellow at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academies of Science
