Nezhad takes on new position at Rainbow Health Initiative

sheila-cropped-thumb-297x320-147513.jpgSheila Nezhad (MDP '10) is the program manager at Rainbow Health Initiative (RHI). RHI is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that advances health equity for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people through research, education, and advocacy. She oversees a variety of programs that focus on advancing the health of LGBTQ people in Minnesota, including: educating health care providers about LGBTQ health disparities, conducting health research, advocating for LGBTQ inclusion in public health, and reducing the harms of alcohol and tobacco on LGBTQ communities.
