Mendis selected as Alumnus of Distinction by U of M

Patrick Mendis.jpgPatrick Mendis (MA '84) has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Harvard International Review. The University of Minnesota has also selected Patrick for the Alumnus of Notable Achievement Award. He is a visiting scholar at the China Foreign Affairs University (of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) in Beijing in Spring 2013. He is a commissioner of the United States National Commission for UNESCO - an appointment by the Obama administration.
