Creed Joins Macy's

Jonathan Creed.jpgCPT Jonathan Creed (MURP '11) was recently hired at Macy's through the military executive development program (MEDP) as a trainee. The MEDP was created to help prepare military men and women for assignment as an assistant store manager and leading up to vice president store manager leading a multi-million dollar store. MEDP is a year-long program that uses a series of rotations to accelerate development.

Jonathan enlisted in the South Dakota Army National Guard in 2000. He has served in the 842nd Engineering Company (CSE), 109th Engineer Battalion, and was deployed to Iraq in 2003. In 2007 Jonathan commissioned through an accelerated officer candidate school program and served as platoon leader in the 200th Engineer Company (MRBC). In 2008 he transferred to the Wisconsin Army National Guard and took on a variety of assignments. He was then deployed to Iraq again in 2010. While serving, Jonathan has been awarded numerous service and achievement awards by the Army National Guard.
