“Social Policy in the New Europe: The Experience of Austria and the Smaller EU Members” March 27-29
The Center for Austrian Studies and the European Studies Consortium will present a public conference on “Social Policy in the New Europe: The Experience of Austria and the Smaller EU Members,” beginning Thursday evening, March 27 (in the McNamara Alumni Center) and continuing March 28 and 29 in the Wilkins Room (215 HHH). A group of leading experts in public policy, sociology, political science, and social work— drawn from Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, as well as the United States—will present scholarly papers and participate in a roundtable discussion about implementing change in social policy and programs.
