EarthWeek 2008 begins April 17

The University of Minnesota will host EarthWeek 2008 to celebrate beautification and sustainability from April 17 to April 27. Starting with Beautiful U Day on Thursday, April 17, the academic community and the general public are invited to join in a variety of University-wide efforts toward improving our environment. The full schedule is online at http://environment.umn.edu/events/earthday.html. A special initiative for the West Bank will be held on Beautiful U Day (April 17).
