Senior Fellow Harry Boyte will celebrate the publication of his new book, The Citizen Solution (Minnesota Historical Society Press, 2008), at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 28, at the Suburban World Theater, 3022 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis. In The Citizen Solution, Boyte celebrates the everyday citizen’s power to make change. He writes about the renewed civic movement in America to come together to shape our lives and community without the prodding or assistance of government. Boyte uses personal experiences and the civic heritage of Minnesotans to articulate his case. The program will include a panel discussion among Boyte and several individuals featured in the book. All are invited to attend.
