A speech from Max Kampelman on a nuclear weapons-free world

Ambassador Max Kampelman is an old friend of the Institute and of Hubert Humphrey himself. He was an Ambassador under both Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. More recently, he has been working with former Senator Sam Nunn and our own Steve Andreasen on a campaign to eliminate nuclear weapons. He sent Dean Atwood a speech that he gave June 23 at Stanford on that topic. The dean thought this would be of general interest. Happy reading.

Read Max Kampelman's speech, which includes "The Legacy of Rock River: Consummating Ronald Reagan's Moral Vision of a Nuclear Weapons-Free World"
