Senior Fellow Harry C. Boyte, co-director of the Center for Democracy and Citizenship, will discuss his new book, The Citizen Solution, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, at the Minneapolis Central Library (Doty Board Room, Minneapolis Central Library, 200 Nicollet Mall). Incorporating the legacy of Alexander Hamilton, Boyte argues that democracy in the 21st century requires a deeper focus on citizen involvement. His presentation is in connection with the library’s exhibition Alexander Hamilton: The May Who Invented Modern America.
