Future Food Scarcities: Global Causes, Local Consequences

The University of Minnesota's Food Industry Center will host its Fall 2008 Symposium on Thursday, October 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center. "Future Food Scarcities: Global Causes, Local Consequences" will present a discussion of the causes and consequences of rising food prices and their impact on food supplies, food companies, consumption, health and public policy in the United States and around the globe.
