Panel discussion on managing the financial crisis February 4

Join us at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, in Cowles Auditorium for a panel discussion on the status and direction of the economy. “The Local and National Economies: Light at the End of the Tunnel?� will feature State Economist Tom Stinson; Federal Reserve Bank Vice President Arthur Rolnick; Dan Laufenberg, chief economist for Ameriprise Financial; and associate professor and economist Maria Hanratty. The panel will be moderated by Jay Kiedrowski, a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute, who previously served as Minnesota Commissioner of Finance. This is the second in a series of programs designed to bring together experts to talk about the current state of the economy. The program is free and open to the public.
