Shalini Vajjhala, a fellow at Resources for the Future, will present "Mapping Global Adaptation Hotspots: Linking Science, Policy, and Practice to Build Resilience to Climate Change" on Thursday, February 19, at 11:30 a.m., at 105 Cargill Building, 1500 Gornter Avenue, St. Paul campus. This lecture will describe a new initiative to build an online Global Adaptation Atlas to capture ever-evolving spatial information on both climate impacts and adaptation activities and allow scientists, policymakers, and citizens to visualize what impacts are likely to affect their region(s), what activities are already underway, and what gaps need to be filled. This event is co-sponsored by the Humphrey Institute's Center for Science, Technology, and Public Policy and the Institute on the Environment.
