"Meeting the Standards of Scientific Inquiry in Community-Engaged Research" March 10

The Office for Public Engagement will hold its second spring Public Engagement Symposium on Tuesday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the McNamara Alumni Center. Moderated by Dr. Judith Ramaley, president of Winona State University, "Meeting the Standards of Scientific Inquiry in Community-Engaged Research" features a panel of representatives from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health in discussions about the role of community engagement in conducting high quality scientific research. Panelists include Dr. Joan Ferrini-Mundy, National Science Foundation; Dr. Paul Targonski, National Institutes of Health; and Dr. Frances Lawrenz, Office of the Vice President for Research, University of Minnesota.
