Donald Moynihan, associate professor at the La Follette School of Public Affairs, will discuss his latest book The Dynamics of Performance Management: Constructing Information and Reform on Thursday, March 12, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Wilkins Room (215 Humphrey Center). In his book, Moynihan examines the pattern of adoption and use of performance management techniques within states and the federal government. His talk will discuss implications for how performance systems actually work and whether they can be used to improve outcomes.
