"Can We Talk? Seeking Common Ground in Fighting Terrorism" March 31

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance will host "Can We Talk? Seeking Common Ground in Fighting Terrorism," a discussion with James B. Comey, Jr., former Deputy Attorney General of the United States, on Tuesday, March 31, from noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Humphrey Forum. As Deputy Attorney General during the Bush administration, Comey was the second-highest ranking official in the United States Department of Justice and oversaw the department's day-to-day operations. In December 2003, Comey appointed Patrick Fitzgerald, U.S. Attorney in Chicago, as Special Counsel to head the CIA leak grand jury investigation after Attorney General John Ashcroft recused himself. Comey left the Department of Justice in August 2005 and is now General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Lockheed Martin. This event is free and open to the public.
