National Public Health Week Film Festival

Ever wonder how the world’s water crisis might affect you? Or do you consider how a simple food like corn can have such a complex history? If so, then you might find the answers to these questions and more during the National Public Health Week Film Festival organized by the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health and co-sponsored by the Humphrey Institute and several other organizations..

The festival, now in its fifth year, will be held April 6-11, at the Mayo Memorial Auditorium on the East Bank of the U of M campus.

Some of the other topics that will be explored are how war impacts children and their families, mental health issues that arise from public health issues and a look at sex ed through the ages and cultures. Experts will be on hand to explore and discuss the topic of each film.
