"Taxes: More or Less?" April 8

The country's current economic situation cannot be remedied by spending cuts along. Join us as an expert panel discusses "Taxes: More or Less?" at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, at the Humphrey Center. Panelists include Arthur Rolnick, vice president and research director for the Federal Reserve Bank; Hal Lofgreen, professor emeritus of economics at St. Cloud State University; Laura Kalambokidis, professor of applied economics at the University of Minnesota; and Alan J. Wilensky, a tax attorney and adjunct faculty member with the Carlson School of Management. The program is free, but RSVPs are required to cgage@umn.edu. This is one of a series of programs designed to bring together experts to talk about the current state of the economy.
