Join us for a briefing by His Excellency Abdirahman Mohamed Farole, president of the Puntland State of Somalia, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, in Cowles Auditorium. The president of this semi-autonomous region will discuss the Somali diaspora, piracy off the the African coast, the security situation in southern Somalia, federalism, and the role of Islam in Somali politics. He also will take questions from the audience. This event is free and open to the public.
