Women and Politics Book Group July 22
The Women and Politics Book Group, an initiative of the Humphrey Institute's Center on Women and Public Policy, will discuss Bella Abzug: How One Tough Broad from the Bronx Fought Jim Crow and Joe McCarthy, Pissed Off Jimmy Carter, Battled for the Rights of Women and Workers, Ralled Against War and for the Planet, and Shook Up Politics Along the Way, by Suzanne Braun Levine and Mary Thom, on July 22, at 5 p.m. in Freeman Commons (205 Humphrey Center).
