The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance will host a discussion with Bill Buzenberg, executive director of the Center for Public Integrity, at noon on September 21 in the Wilkins Room (215) of the Humphrey Center. Buzenberg will focus on how the rapid decline of traditional media is endangering watch-dog journalism as a necessary ingredient for a healthy democracy, as well as a number of initiatives under way that can provide a steady stream of credible investigative reports focused on government, business, and other powerful institutions.
