Danish Ambassador Discusses Climate Change

Denmark's Ambassador to the United States, Friis Arne Petersen, will offer a preview of the United Nations' COP15 conference on climate change to be held in Copenhagen in December. Reducing man-made greenhouse gases that have a negative effect on our climate system and achieving an international agreement that combines respect for the environment with living standards and long-term security of the energy supply in the best way possible presently is the highest political priority for the Government of Denmark.
