New (Leadership) Role for Bloomberg

Laura Bloomberg, assistant director of the Center for School Change, has been named executive director of the Center for Integrative Leadership, a joint initiative of the Institute and the Carlson School of Management. Her appointment took effect Monday, October 26.

Bloomberg's leadership experiences cross government, nonprofit, and private organizations. She served for several years as a public school administrator and principal of an urban K-12 magnet school. She has held elective office and chaired the Association of Metropolitan School Districts. Bloomberg also is a founding partner of Full Circle Community Institute, a multicultural organization that provides evaluation and leadership development support to small nonprofits and minority-led organizations.
