The Case for a Public Option in Health Care Reform
The Humphrey Institute's Center for the Study of Politics and Governance will host Lois Quam, founder and CEO of Tysvar, LLC, to discuss a possible public option in federal health care reform at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, in Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey Center. Quam is an internationally recognized leader on the emerging green economy and health care and will draw on her experience in the private sector and in private insurance to explain the importance of providing the option of government health insurance in order to control costs and ensure quality.
