Sue Jeffers, GOP candidate for governor, gave a public policy address on "Taming the Beast: Regaining Control of a Runaway Government" on August 17 at the Humphrey Institute. Jeffers's remarks were part of the Candidate Forum, sponsored by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance in an effort to nurture substantive discussion on important policy issues.
