Creating Policy Spaces with Civil Society

The Public and Nonprofit Leadership Center will host Dr. Alnoor Ebrahim, associate professor of business administration at Harvard Business School, to speak about the role of nongovernmental organizations in helping alleviate global poverty from 12:45 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, in the Wilkins Room (215 Humphrey Center).

Dr. Ebrahim will give a presentation called "Creating Policy Spaces with Civil Society: challenges of Inclusiveness, Accountability, and Representation." He will focus specifically on a project that examined the efforts of civil society organizations to influence national policy dialogues in India, Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, and Uganda. This discussion is free and open to the public through a generous gift from Susan and Bert Gross.
