** Humphrey Centennial Celebration Event **
Dean J. Brian Atwood and members of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs Advisory Council cordially invite you to the public premiere of The Art of the Possible, a new documentary about the life and legacy of Hubert H. Humphrey.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with Bill Moyers, White House press secretary during the Johnson Administration, and Norm Sherman, Humphrey's press secretary during his vice presidency. Filmmaker Mick Caouette spent almost a decade making this moving, no-holds-barred documentary about one of America's greatest legislators: Hubert H. Humphrey. He interviewed dozens of friends and colleagues to render a portrait of a public servant who is as inspirational today as he was when he served his community and his nation as mayor of Minneapolis, U.S. Senator, and Vice President of the United States. The Art of the Possble will air on public television stations across the nation later this fall. Check your local listings for more information. The event is free, but registration is required.
