How Redistricting Can Remake Minnesota Politics

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance will host a half-day forum tackling the issue of redistricting reform from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, October 4, at the Humphrey Center. Results of November's election may have far-reaching effects as legislators look toward redistricting. This panel will feature national, state, and local perspectives on the challenges and objectives of redistricting reform from: Norm Ornstein of the American Enterprise Institute, Minnesota State Demographer Tom Gillaspy, State Senator Ann Rest, State Representative Laura Brod, and panelists from the City of Minneapolis.
