Judges, Money, and Politics: The State of Judicial Elections in Minnesota

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance will host a discussion about how the election of Minnesota's state judges have become increasingly partisan and expensive. The event is free and open to the public, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, in Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey Center. Eric Magnuson, former Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court; Gary Borgendale, local ministry director for KKMS-AM; and Sarah Walker, the chief operating officer at 180 Degrees, Inc. will participate in the panel discussion, moderated by Professor Larry Jacobs.
