To commemorate the 75th anniversary of passage of the Social Security Act, the Center on Women and Public Policy will co-sponsor a free screening of You May Call Her Madam Secretary, a short film about Frances Perkins, U.S. Secretary of Labor during the Roosevelt Administration. The film--about conscience, politics, and social justice--will be shown at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 15, in Cowles Auditorium, with comments, networking, and refreshments will follow.
