Hubert Humphrey and Ronald Reagan: Together Again

February 21, 5--6:30 p.m. | Humphrey Center

2011 marks the centennial of the birth of two great American political leaders, Hubert Humphrey and Ronald Reagan. And although they had vast ideological differences, what many don't realize are their similarities. What might those values and traits be, including and beyond their distinctive civility and cheer? The Center of the American Experiment will bring together State Republican Chairman Bob Brown, Ambassador Geri Joseph, Vice President Walter Mondale, and Congressman Vin Weber to discuss these similarities, for this annual celebration of former Humphrey School dean John Brandl. To RSVP, call 612-338-3605, or visit https://www.americanexperiment.org/register-free.php.
