The Center for Women and Public Policy will host a meetings of the Women and Politics Book Club on Wednesday, March 30, at 5 p.m. in Freeman Commons (Room 205 Humphrey Center). A Woman Among Warlords: The Extraordinary Story of an Afghan Who Dared to Raise her Voice describes Malalai Joya's journey to becoming the youngest and among the first women to be elected to Afghanistan's Parliament. This event is free and open to the public.
