Keynote from Lois Quam at the conference on “Biofuels, Carbon, and Trade”

On October 22–23, the Humphrey Institute and
several University and international partners
hosted “Biofuels, Carbon, and Trade: Leadership
Challenges for the Interdependent Americas.”

Lois Quam, managing director of alternative
investments at Piper Jaffray, gave the opening
keynote address. She talked about her new role
in which she is responsible for managing Piper
Jaffray’s equity investment offerings in alternative
energy and clean technology.
