Post-doc Eric Ostermeier, who maintains the Smart Politics blog for the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance was interviewed by Mary Lahammer on TPT's Almanac. The blog's new design by Graham Lampa was also featured in the segment. Attending a bi-partisan blogger get-together, Ostermeier was asked what it's like to represent a site that publishes non-partisan political analysis, a rarity in the blogosphere:

When you write a non-partisan blog—our blog is usually based on a lot of data and historical analysis—it's kind hard for people to come by with these sort of drive-by shooting attacks on me, but in this environment, I'm helpless.
