Humphrey Institute alumnus Tim Marx (MA '79) reflects on his service to the State of Minnesota and gives special thanks to John Brandl and Harlan Cleveland, former deans of the Humphrey Institute.

I am honored to have the opportunity to offer some reflections on my public service and civic involvement. As I do so, I am filled with gratitude to Minnesota and the many Minnesotans — native and adopted — who have offered me support and mentorship.
