Humphrey Institute’s Center for Democracy and Citizenship honors Veterans Day with its Warrior to Citizen Campaign- a grassroots effort to bring together veterans and their families with employers, students, clergy, legislators, teachers, and other professionals- to offer veterans unique ways to reconnect with the communities they left behind.

"Veterans Day is an opportunity for all of us to show our appreciation for veterans and their families and to become more aware of the sacrifices that they've made," said Dennis Donovan, research fellow and organizer of the Warrior to Citizen Campaign. "It's also a time to recognize that these men and women have much to contribute to building strong and healthy communities."
