Professor Sally Kenney, director of the Humphrey Institute’s Center on Women and Public Policy, was recognized for outstanding leadership at the University this week by receiving two distinguished awards.
The prestigious Morse-Alumni Award honors the University’s “greatest teaching professors.” Kenney was recognized for “outstanding contributions to postbaccalaureate, graduate, and professional education.” An award ceremony will be held on April 27 at McNamara Alumni Center.
Kenney also received the 2009 Mullen-Spector-Truax Award for her “significant impact on women’s leadership development at the University and the potential for long-term sustainability of these programs and initiatives.” She will be honored at the Celebrating University Women Awards on April 20.
