During her visit to Minnesota for the Humphrey Institute, President Sirleaf of Liberia discussed possible permanent status for Liberian-Americans. This article is part of an on-going series of articles focusing on some of the issues President Sirleaf addressed while in Minnesota.
While she passionately highlighted every single national policy issue as if the progress of her people depended on it, she never forgot to throw her weight behind efforts to secure permanent resident status for thousands of Liberians in the United States.
