Lawmakers examine U.S. Senate recount

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance hosts a panel to discuss some lessons learned from the recount in Minnesota's race for U.S. Senate.

The race between Democrat Al Franken and Republican Norm Coleman lasted nearly eight months until Coleman conceded after the Minnesota Supreme Court ruled in Franken's favor. Franken was sworn in on Tuesday. Rest heads the state Senate committee that oversees elections, while Emmer is the ranking Republican on the House committee for elections.
