Humphrey Professor Larry Jacobs comments on the crowded field of gubernatorial candidates.
"It's like he's got a special protective coating on: He's running for the office and raising money but he's not really fair game and subject to the back and forth of the declared candidates," Larry Jacobs, director of the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, said of both men. "If you're another gubernatorial candidate, you might think, 'That's not fair.' "
