Eric Ostermeier discusses lack of evidence that Bachmann will be negatively influenced by presidential bid as she aims for another term in Congress.

In a news release, DFLers referred to a recent poll that found 57 percent of Minnesotans don't want Bachmann to run for Congress again. But there's little evidence Bachmann's presidential bid made her less viable as a congressional candidate, said Eric Ostermeier, who authors the Smart Politics blog for the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
