Humphrey School honors three fellows who have done research on local elected officials.

Humphrey School Dean Eric Schwartz said studies of Minnesota's tradition of public service are important: "We sometimes lose sight of the imperative of public service and the enormous contributions it makes to our community. Understanding and spotlighting Minnesota's great public servants is a way to honor them and to honor the work of laboring for the common good."
