Food policy fact sheet focuses on genetic engineered food safety

Humphrey School, along with four other University of Minnesota schools and colleges, inform policy-makers on food-related issued.

The Food Policy Research Center, comprised of five schools and colleges at the University of Minnesota, has released the first in a series of fact sheets designed to inform policy-makers on a variety of issues through a comprehensive, scientific approach and are part of a broader analysis of food policy topics. The first fact sheet focuses on genetically modified foods and is titled "Safety Assessment of Genetically Engineered Foods: U.S. Policy & Current Science."
